Welcome to 5th Grade!
I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your child this school year. I'm certain that we will have an exciting adventure. We have so many new things to learn and explore...
*Skills in writing will be fine-tuned.
*Math will be challenging... problem solving, algebra, and geometry.
*In Science, we'll experiment, dig geology, get wet in a wetland, and discover new mixtures in chemistry.
*We'll read a variety of genres and get lost with those characters that we'll meet.
*And much, much more....stay tuned!
This will mark my 35th year of teaching in the Lincoln Public Schools. I taught sixth grade for 11 years at Zeman Elementary. I then moved to Meadow Lane where I have taught third grade, Pre-K-5th grade science, fourth grade, and finally fifth grade. I think I've found my favorite grade level.
